Abloy EL460 Electric Lock
The Abloy EL460 is a narrow profile electric lock designed for use in aluminium doors. Operationally it should be specified for read in / free release doors. The external handle requires input from an access control device before it becomes active. The internal handle is always active, allowing mechanical egress in all circumstances, making the lock solution compliant with escape regs BSEN179 or BSEN1125 depending on selected door hardware.
This impeccably built electric lock can be set to fail safe or fail secure on site depending on your application requirements.
It is designed for use with handles, and a euro cylinder for mechanical key override.
The lock can be bought on its own, or as part of one of Abloy’s electric lock packages which include things like handles, euro cylinders, panic bar and door loops.
