Hand-Held Fever Screening

The hand held fever screening CCTV solution looks like a speedgun. It can be mounted on a tripod and pointed in the direction of oncoming pedestrian traffic. Once within range (between 1.50 and 3.00 metres), the device will register the targets temperature.

This handheld thermal camera is equipped with a 160×120 resolution thermal detector and is capable of discovering and tracking people with higher than average body temperature within a crowd. It can then alert the operator via PC based software, or smartphone app using a highlighted colour or audio alarm. This solution has an accuracy of +/- 0.5 degrees C.
