Fob Entry Systems For Schools
Finding the best fob system for your school premises can be a minefield. Keytrak have spent the last 30 years helping schools, nurseries, colleges and universities to decide on the most suitable fob based access control systems to protect their buildings, and their people.
Based on this time sepnt experience, we have narrowed down the most popular and effective fob solutions for schools to; Paxton Net2 and Paxton Switch2.
Paxton Net2
Paxton Net2 is a PC based access control system, that allows you to manage and monitor your security from software installed on a host PC. It gives you the ability to add and remove user permissions for mutiple doors with a few clicks of your mouse. Net2 also includes features like Live Event Reporting, Timezones, Usergroups and Access Levels. With the Pro version of Net2 software you can also take advantage of useful features like Lockdown, Time and Attendance and Fire Roll Call reporting.

Paxton Switch2
Paxton Switch2 is a stand alone access control solution. In our expeirence Switch2 is an ideal solution where you have a small number of users (up to 50) and a small number of doors (up to 5). It is also less demanding on budgets than Net2 as there is no need for running network infrastructure, and the control equipment is cheaper.
Access permissions are managed at each door using Paxton’s signature management card pack.
The process for adding new fobs or cards to the system is very simple, and system management is as simple as it gets.
Fobs or cards are ordered in either packs of 10 or 50. Use the enrolment card to add all cards in the pack, and then use the corresponding shadow cards to remove any cards that don’t require access.
If a user leaves without returning their access card, or if a card is lost, you simply show the corresponding shadow card to any readers that they had access to; removing their permission and maintaining the integrity of your system.

We have used Keytrak for over 20 years to install and maintain our Paxton Net2 system. They have a team of skilled and knowledgable engineers who have taken time to get to know our building and our people. I couldnt recommend them highly enough.

We've been working with Keytrak for just a few months, and their team's attention to detail and dedication is incredible. Special thanks to Lewis and Jennie for their exceptional service. There aren’t many companies like Keytrak, especially in security. Highly recommend!

Great service. Had nothing but problems with the door for months and months. Ian & Owen turned up the morning after I called Keytrak the day before and they were all done by 10am. Amazing service. Polite workers. Great company. Can’t recommend them highly enough. Great job.

Booked Keytrak to install a new cctv system in the school I work in. The system is great, the staff were professional and skilled. Originally we had a full week for the install as it is was a full new system however, at the last minute we had to drop the last two days. Keytrak took this in stride and sent extra engineers to get the job done in our new time frame. Thanks guys.
