UNICAN 1000 SERIES MECHANICAL DIGITAL LOCKS

General :

General The Unican 1000 series mechanical digital lock has a full size knob together with a recessed face plate. The latchbolt has anti-friction action and is deadlocking to give maximum security - a BACK TO BACK lock is also available, with cylinders either side (1002-2 BTB). L1000 series are similar to the 1000 series but are fitted with a lever handle. They are, therefore, suitable for disabled or arthritic people who would find it difficult to turn a knob. Entry of the correct combination engages the clutch to the outside knob allowing it to turn and retract the latchbolt. Once the knob has been turned, the clutch is disengaged. There are function variations to suit the requirements of most users.
